TUNBRIDGE WELLS ARTS FESTIVAL

2nd-3rd March 2024 Kent College Pembury

Last year a good number of my pupils attended, for many it was their first time performing publicly. All pupils received certificates and personal feedback and some reached the top 3 places in their classes. It’s an amazing experience to play in front of a live audience and last year the pianos were all grand pianos, for the pianists.

It’s their 75th anniversary so they are running a special 75th Anniversary Bursary Competition as part of the festival weekend and GEMS Prize Giving concert. They are offering bursaries to help support young performers of outstanding ability. Selected entrants in Instrumental classes will be invited to perform a short programme at the GEMS concert on Sunday 17th March, adjudicated by professional adjudicators.

Eastbourne Festival of Arts

Our first competition of the year. We have entries in 10 classes. You all have you dates and times, pianists your classes are on Saturday, 10th February.
